Atlanta History Center
The Atlanta history center is monument to the rich history of Atlanta. With a 33-acre facility consisting of historical houses, exhibitions, gardens, and a research facility, we recognized the need for a visit planning system so visitors can experience everything the center has to offer.
Other proposed solutions work to make the museum experience more memorable, converting first time visitors and cafe goers into life-long patrons by increasing community engagement, reaching more people who are interested in fostering a deeper connection with Atlanta's vibrant history and culture.

Welcome Kiosk
This kiosk is designed to be interacted with via the main atrium near the entrance. It has 4 sections to help visitors explore everything the AHC has to offer in a way that is tailored to their interests and timeframe.
• Exhibitions & Events informs viewers about the exhibitions and events that will be available to visit today, or in the near future.
• The Campus Map provides an interactive map that visitors can use to approach their visit.
• Visit planning helps users to create a detailed visit plan that can then be sent to their phones and referenced throughout their trip.
• Memberships & Rewards allow visitors to get kickbacks and special benefits at the AHC, incentivizing return visits.
Farewell Kiosk
Cafe Screens

Proposed to incentivize cafe goers to visit the rest of the museum. The screens provide a non-invasive way to inform visitors about the other amenities, encouraging them to explore everything the AHC has to offer.
The farewell kiosk is a proposed solution to collecting feedback from visitors about their experience at the AHC. It also prompts users to sign up for the mailing list and rewards, providing incentive to return to the AHC to receive benefits on their next visit.
Currently, the AHC uses a disposable wristband as signifier of admission. We redesigned the ticket so that it can still be worn as a wristband, but after it is removed, it unfolds to reveal some information about the visit. This leaves visitors with some memorabilia that may encourage them to come again in the future.
